# I bought a hunt with a 7 day max. When does the 7 days start?

You have 12 months from the purchase date to use your hunt. The 7 day duration refers to the duration when participants will be able to actually complete challenges within the app (the time between your start date/time and your end date/time that you set when building your hunt).
