# Can I hide a task from my hunt?

Yes, you can hide a task from the hunt. To do this, simply use your admin dashboard to edit your task's visibility settings. By updating these settings, the task will be hidden from the hunt, making it inaccessible to users who are not meant to see it. Here's how to adjust the visibility:

1. Log in to your admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to the list of tasks.
3. Click on the task you wish to hide.
4. Find the 'Visibility' setting within the task options.
5. Toggle off the visibility setting.
6. Save your changes.

Once you have updated this setting, the task will no longer be visible in the hunt. If you need to make the task visible again, you can follow the same steps and change the visibility back to 'Visible'.

**Notes:**

- **Retention of Points:** Hunters who have already completed the task before it was hidden will retain their points.
- **Scheduling Independence:** The visibility setting of the task overrides any scheduling dates, meaning that the task will be hidden or shown based on this setting alone, regardless of the task's scheduled visibility dates.
